Welcome back, class!
These are the objectives of today's class:
To understand and practice past tense pronunciation.
To practice writing in past tense.
So, let's begin with an activity related to past tense (-ed endings) pronunciation.

After this activity you should have a better understanding of past tense (-ed endings) pronunciation. So let's jump into another topic.
Last class you were supposed to write your personal routine on a Saturday. For this activity you needed to use simple present. Please, share your routine with your classmates.
Now, based on your routine, you are going to tell the class: What did you do on Saturday? (In this case, of course, you will need to use simple past.)

Find two other words or phrases from the list that usually go with each verb.

Select the things you did last weekend. Then compare with a partner.
Example: Student A: I went shopping with my friends. We had a great time.
Student B: I didn't have a very good time. I did the laundry and...

Take turns. One student makes a statement about the weekend. Other student asks questions. Each student answers at least three questions.
